Center for Environmental Law and Climate Justice (CELCJ) was founded 2022 as a research center in under the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia.

CELCJ aspires to protect the environment, human rights, and promoting a just and sustainable society through legal research and advocacy

Produce first-class academic research on environmental issues periodically.
Promote the development of environmental law scholarship at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia and Indonesia.
Become a leading research institution that facilitates academic research training and a knowledge platform attracting leading environmental law scholars and practitioners in Indonesia.
Engage with community service through periodic academic discussions which are open to the public and disseminating academic publications that are free and easily accessible by the general public.
