Prof. Andri is an Executive Director at Center for Environmental Law and Climate Justice, Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia. Prof. Andri earned his Bachelor of Laws degree from the Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia. He obtained a Master of Laws degree from the Law and Economics Program Utrecht University, Netherlands, and a Doctorate degree from the Faculty of Law Maastricht University, Netherlands with a dissertation entitled “Law and Economic Analysis of the Precautionary Principle.” The Professorship was conferred on 10 April 2021 with an inaugural speech entitled: “The Anthropocene and the Law: Environmental Law in Dangerous Times.”
Prof. Andri also received a Fullbright scholarship for post-doctoral research at Columbia University (2012-2014), a post-doctoral grant from Koninklijke Nederlandse Akademie van Weteschappen (KNAW), SPIN Program (2008-2010), and STUNED Scholarship for Masters Program (2001-2002).
Wiwiek Awiati is a researcher at Center for Environmental Law and Climate Justice, Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws, Master of Laws, and Doctor of Laws degrees from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia. She was actively involved in research activities.
Her research includes: Research on Restorative Justice in Aceh, West Nusa Tenggara and South Sulawesi, Research on 3 accesses (access to Information, Participation and Justice), Research on Administrative Enforcement in Environmental Dispute Resolution, Development of Environmental Law Teaching Materials, and Research on the Chamber System in the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia and the Development of Mediation in the Courts.
Josi Khatarina adalah peneliti di Pusat Hukum Lingkungan dan Keadilan Iklim, Fakultas Hukum Universitas Indonesia. Ia meraih gelar LL.B. dari Universitas Indonesia, LL.M. dan Ph.D. dari Melbourne Law School, serta gelar Magister Hukum dan Kebijakan Lingkungan dari University of Kent.
Ia merupakan dosen paruh waktu bidang hukum lingkungan di Fakultas Hukum Universitas Indonesia, sebelumnya menjabat sebagai Penasihat Hukum Senior di Agensi REDD+ Indonesia, dan saat ini menjabat sebagai ketua badan pengurus Indonesian Center for Environmental Law.
Zefanya Albrena Sembiring is a researcher at Center for Environmental Law and Climate Justice, Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia. He was educated in Indonesia (Universitas Indonesia) for Bachelor of Law (LL.B) with a cum-laude and in the Netherlands (Universiteit Utrecht) for LL.M in European Law with concentration on Law and Sustainability.
He possesses specialty areas encompassing topics such as Indonesian environmental law, EU environmental law, Indonesian climate law, climate litigation, intergenerational rights, and the legal framework of emerging climate engineering techniques such as Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR).
Mas Achmad Santosa is a researcher at Center for Environmental Law and Climate Justice, Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia, and his Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from Osgood Hall Law School at York University, Toronto, Canada. Santosa earned his Doctorate degree from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia with his dissertation entitled: “The Effectiveness of Administrative Law Enforcement in Environmental Protection and Management in Indonesia: Case Study in Central Java Province.” Since the beginning of his career, Santosa has been active as an activist for law enforcement in environmental protection and management in Indonesia.
He founded the Indonesia Center For Enviromental Law (ICEL), Chairman of the National Presidium of the Wahana Lingkungan Hidup Indonesia (Walhi), and currently serves as CEO of the Indonesia Ocean Justice Initiative (IOJI).
Savitri Nur Setyorini is a researcher at Center for Environmental Law and Climate Justice, Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws degrees from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia. Savitri successfully completed both academic degrees cum laude. She has been a lecturer at the Department of Administration Law, Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia since 2013.
She focuses on teaching and research in Administration Law, Environmental Law, and Natural Resources.
Gerhard Mangara is a junior researcher at the Center for Environmental Law and Climate Justice, Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia. Gerhard has a keen interest in environmental and climate change law, which he has explored through writing journal articles and presenting at conferences. He is also proficient in teaching and writing scientific papers. In his role at the Center, Gerhard is fully responsible for producing scientific papers and has actively participated in organizing events.
His notable achievements include publishing a paper titled “Miskonsepsi Kasus Tindak Pidana dalam Litigasi Perubahan Iklim di Indonesia” (Misconceptions of Criminal Cases in Climate Change Litigation in Indonesia) in the CELCJ’s Working Paper Series No. 1, July 2023.
