Andri Gunawan Wibisana is Director in Chief at Center for Environmental Law and Climate Justice, Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia. Prof Andri has been a lecturer in Environmental Law in the Field of Public Administration Law Studies, Faculty of Law Universitas
Indonesia since 1999. Prof. Andri earned a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Faculty of Law Universitas Indonesia. He obtained a Master of Laws degree from the Law and Economics Program Utrecht University, Netherlands, and a Doctorate degree from the Faculty of Law Maastricht University, Netherlands with a dissertation entitled “Law and Economic Analysis of the Precautionary Principle.” The Professorship was conferred on 10 April 2021 with an inaugural speech entitled: “The Anthropocene and the Law: Environmental Law in Dangerous Times.” Prof. Andri also received a Fullbright scholarship for post-doctoral research at Columbia University (2012-2014), a post-doctoral grant from Koninklijke Nederlandse Akademie van Weteschappen (KNAW), SPIN Program (2008-2010), and STUNED Scholarship for Masters Program (2001-2002).
